Actually, I'm surprised it's only going for $123,000!

a bunch of guys in the Pittsburgh Nasioc forum were talking about pooling money and grabbing it. I have a feeling this thing is going to sell just as fast as they say it drives. With Colin no longer with us and Subaru now out of the WRC...it makes this thing quite the rally collectors item.

i would never go in on a pool to get it. i can only imagine the inter-pool fighting over whose turn it is to take it out.

Very true. Although I can't even imagine how rough that'd be to import to the US let alone get it on the road legally... I mean it's a headache to import road-cars. I can't imagine it's easy to do for race-cars or if it's even possible.. but then again those things have to be road-legal around the world for the road-sections in-between rally stages correct? Hm..

There's no WAY that thing would be street legal and still fun. That's why I said buy it for the club, hold for track days, come track day everybody who put in gets a go round, and the first one to break it gets his @$$ kicked. It's igneous!

The only way it would work is if everyone put in to buy the club car.

At that point, you'd have to rent it out to club members for $250/ track day. That way only the people that are really willing to spend the money that day can rent it, not 25 people showing up wanting their free lap.

All proceeds go to fund club events.
