I've decided put my GoPro up for sale so that I can buy something that's needed instead of an impulse toy. These Cameras and mount are $180 new and do NOT include SD cards. I would like to sell my set which includes 2 2gig SD cards for $170. I've only used this thing several times, and after this weekend's autoX event, I can assure you it is waterproof .

I MIGHT be interested. How stable is this rig? I have plans to shoot some new footage for RallyX. Would it survive that?

The suction cup rig is Extremely rugged. Gtech tested this at 150 mph. AMS uses these on their time attack cars. IN short, yes they are extremely strong.

The thing that bothers me about the gopro stuff is the 513x384 resolution.

True, the 513x384 resolution resolution is small compared to most market DV Cameras, but the point of this product is not to shoot a cinema quality movie. When It comes down to it, you have a tiny DV camera shooting 30 frames/sec mounted IN a WATERPROOF/SHOCKPROOF sealed enclosure that's rugged enough to survive all of what your car might encounter on the road. This product is great for mounting just about anywhere on your car, and not having to worry about breaking a $600 camera. whether your chasing cones in a parking lot, or performing douchbaggery on 495 with some friends, this thing is good enough get the shot you you want, at a price that don't leave you broke.
