Trying it out now. The forums loaded hella fast with it! Most other pages seem to load quicker than FF and IE7, too.

I'm reading the comic now: on page 8 and I'm sold. I'll download it tonight as soon as I get home.
also: WIRED.com has a good story on Chrome's development.

Yeah, same here. It's a nice browser. I used it for about a day. But I don't think I'm willing to hand everything over to Google just yet. Now, where's that Kool-Aid?

Section 11 still applies universally to all google products. Google TOS

Again. Pass.

It's way cool that they've open-sourced most of the browser and tools related. I have high hopes for it becoming a great browser. They've given a tremendous amount of product and service to almost everyone who has touched a computer in the last ten years. Simply astounding when you stop and think about it.

That and I don't have a windows installation to try it out on...

I guess I just don't have the motivation at present to build up a virtualbox image just to try out teh browser.

I'm sure I'll have eaten most of these words in six months when they release it for other platforms.

I do not read it that way.

from the TOS for all google products.

I tried it. The potential is there but it's nothing yet. I like how every tab is its own process so if one page hangs the whole browser doesn't have to die. Which also makes it a nice anti-RickRoll browser. It's a lot faster at loading Javascript too.

Some cool ideas. But not enough to play with the big dogs just yet.

Extensions for Chrome are possible by May.
Gizmodo wrote:According to a schedule for this year's Google Conference, there will be a panel entitled "Developing Extensions for Google Chrome." It's cryptic, I know, but I think that means additional Chrome functionality is coming.

This is good (or maybe just intriguing) news for Firefoxtards like myself who cant bear to part with their precious extensions, but like some of Chrome's features. And since this isn't really official news, details are rather thin.

Chrome Speed Test:

Freaking awesome :) Chrome has been getting stupid fast lately. Very good to see. Makes me really wonder why Firefox, with thousands of developer (monkeys) couldn't do as well...

That is a really fantastic test. It's also a great indicator (I think) about how cool and unique a company they are.

Good stuffs. :nana:
