Greetings,
I met Sabre at Langley AFB earlier this week and took note of the web address on his STi after talking to him about track days and mods and ecu tuning. Thought I would come and check things out.
I drive a 2005 Evo VIII MR. Mild modifications. Just moved out here to Newport News from the central coast of Cali. DC is a bit up the road so probably wont be making too many (if any) meets, but I'm definatly interested in track days.

Hello! I just got back from Newport News earlier this week after visiting a friend who's stationed down at Langley AFB.
I know of a couple regular meets in that area that gather on Saturdays. One at the Bass Pro Shop another at the Home Depot. Don't go to the one at the Home Depot. Lot of rice and even more stupid. Bass Pro Shop is more domestics but there's less chance of your car meeting the business end of a crusher.
Welcome to the boards

If you want to come out and play, we have an AutoX class going on in August. We will have regular meets too, but this is when we get to play with our toys. You should come out if you have the chance.

Something else I wanted to add on. If you have an email address of anything of that nature (although, I imagine you would in order to create an account on this site). Send it to me via PM and next time I'm down that way (which is likely to happen before we all start wearing jackets again) I'll shoot you a message so you can meet another real life DCAWD member. This reminds me, one of us actually lives down Virginia Beach way. His name is Osiros on the boards. You can shoot him a PM and you guys can possibly get together and talk shop.

Yea, mild. Wild is when you start talking stroker and such and nearing the 4 digit HP mark.

It's not that bad.
4G63 Cosworth cams = $679.00
EJ25 Cosworth cams = $1,099.00
The real price is changing them. MUCH more work on the EJ25. I figure just change them when you change your spark plugs, damn near have the engine out the car for that anyway.

Hey man,
I'm the guy down here in Hampton Roads that they were talking about. Sorry....was on a bit of a hiatus from the internets for a bit. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that I actually do exist....albeit on the other side of the water. Welcome to the boards!.....you know, late and stuff.
