DCAWD Meet - Tuesday 09/27/05 - HT's

Post by ElZorro »

Hello all,
The next meeting of DC All Wheel Drive will be on Tuesday, 27 September at 7:15pm. We will be meeting outside for a little while, then going inside to grab some grub! While we are outside, please stay out of the right of ways. No standing in the road and such, just stay in between or infront of the cars Smile If hoods open, only leave them open long enough to do you business.

Hard Times is located at:
6362 Springfield Plaza
Springfield, Virginia 22150
(703) 913-5600

Link to map: - here -

Most up to date information found in our forum here.

Let me know if you are coming so that we can try to keep an accurate count.

PLEASE keep things reasonable coming into the parking lot. Take care all and I hope to see you there!

Note: This is an AWD, we meet no matter what Mother Nature throws at us! Even if you do not have a AWD car, feel free to come!

ElZorro (Jason)
The VP in DCAWD

Count me in! And, yes, you might as well add me to the list of people who are always there. At least for the Hard Times meets, that is.

I have a game @ 8 that night, so I will stop by for the beginning and then will have to leave. I might call one of you to get me a chilli mac to go and pick it up on my way back.

no, I won't make it out Saturday. going to have to try and fix my exhaust leak. did the UP yesterday and now there's a high pitched squeel under full throttle at around 3400 RPM. I may just take it to a shop and pay somebody. I'm tired of futzing with it...

did you leave the license at a pool hall, or shall we assume the worst case scenario?

Ah, you didn't get the memo...$250 fine w/ 30 day suspension of license...I will be back on the roads Oct. 18th. Right now I get to stay at my wife's cousin's mansion in Ashburn. I get all the gourmet food I can eat, lunches packed, rides to and from work, my own room w/ full bath...I have actually been able to work out everyday since last monday and it has been months since I did that...have to get rid of "Mr. FlabbyMan!"...I do make my own breakfast...and I try to help them out anyway I can...they won't except any money from me b/c we are family...I did help paint the 3 car garage w/ 20 ft ceilings...yeah, not worst case scenario but still it is hard seeing my ride parked everyday when I get to the house. Good time for mod work and a good waxing
