Re: DCAWD goes to the Nationals
Sorry 08 OBP FXT, just a tad too late. I was just about to post that I bought the tickets Saturday morning. If you want to get yourself a ticket on your own, that's entirely up to you.
So to everyone who HAS already paid; the tickets have been paid for and picked up along with the vouchers for the free food. Meeting plans will be hammered down later this week. I'm assuming the simplest thing is to converge on the stadium from our most convenient Metro stops. Or, if preferred, meet for breakfast close to a Metro then head to the stadium.
[cheesy Seacrest voice] Alright America it's in your hands now. Which one will it be? The polls are now open. Seacrest out![/cheesy Seacrest voice]

Nonononono, L and I are still in!
I just meant we probably aren't going to drive south to Springfield DilverS just to turn around and head back north on the metro to goto a ball game.

Ok, then Plan B. Your fortune cookie reads 'watch out for bat-wielding hoodlums' .
If anyone backs out, or we end up with an extra ticket, I'd be interested in scooping it up.

How about Silver Diner up in Arlington instead? Folks can meet down in Springfield and caravan or Metro to Arlington.

Re: DCAWD goes to the Nationals
Agreed. It's no big deal to meet ya'll at the stadium. It's probably easier for you Springfieldians to hang in Springfieldia.WRXWagon2112 wrote:I think it goes without saying that Christy and I will meet y'all at the ballpark.

Re: DCAWD goes to the Nationals
Actually that would only be parking for 7. Unless, the +1's are driving themselves which, even then, it would only be 11. But I see your point. Trying to park 7 cars in Clarendon is difficult but it can be done and the place supposedly has it's own parking lot.
Is this still a possibility? Yes? No? Maybe so?

Sure!Mr Kleen wrote:anyplace near Pentagon City worth meeting up for brunch and pregame?
You've got a handful of restaurants in the mall, a ton of places outdoors at Pentagon Row and of course the 23rd street section of Crystal City.
I would think someplace like Champs at Pentagon Row would be the most sports-y.
Thoughts?
