I installed the famous H6 rear brake upgrade this afternoon. everything went pretty well and the job was finished with only a few minor issues (minor thanks to Zak ). I won't get into the details as there are quite a few excellent write ups for this install already, but here are my tips for a successful H6 upgrade install:
1. make sure you have rear brake pads AND PAD RETAINER CLIPS for a 2002 WRX.
I had the pads but not the clips (thanks Zak)
2. make sure you have 2 bolts of the correct size to thread into the rotor if it is frozen to the hub.
I didn't, but I'm sure you can guess who did...
3. make sure you have a large diameter, very sharp drill bit to remove the dust shields.
I had a sharp drill bit and Zak had a large drill bit, between them I got the job done.

Re: H6 rear brake upgrade
little tweak here, a little tweak there...
side note: I have a set of front and rear 2004 WRX EBC brake pads with very little wear if anybody is interested in a trade of some sort, OBO.

'grats on teh install!
Since thermobox has the 04 wrx brakes, rotors and hubs from my swap, he might wanna snag the pads you have
Just to satiate myself, what does the pedal and weight transfer feel like after the swap? Less dive up front? Any more stability (by the butt-dyno of course)?

The stop fast bits will help out a lot with AutoX.
