New to the forum...what's up?

Hey guys, my name is Chad, I'm fairly new to the area and just found out about this group. Gotta love the concept and dynamic of a group that contains all varieties of AWD. Noticed also that there are a many local meets in my area so that is always a plus, the one I attended last night at the Garden Grill was great. As far as my AWD stable, gotta admit I live life in the early 90's still...I have a 91 and a 92 Galant VR-4...my 91 is down currently with engine issues (go figure), and the 92 is fairly stock-ish, but won't be for long I assure you. Long story short, loved the cars at the meet and look forward to the next one, seems like a great board. thanks.

Great to have a new member. Especially seeing that sweet ass VR4. Probably on of the cleanest ones if seen in awhile. Goodluck on your other ride and getting it sorted out.

GVR-4 X 2? Wouldn't that equal GVR-8?

Great seeing you out last night and talking to you at dinner. I believe I saw you this morning walking past the Giant in Saratoga as well!

Thanks for coming to the meet. I didn't get around to meeting anyone really but hopefully you'll be at future meets and we can meet then.

Oh yes, 2 GVR-4s, which happens to be the minimum amount of GVR-4s you can own to keep one of them on the road at any given time. Joining the forum has inspired me to get around to installing the parts I've got kicking around...sitting in my storage closet are....a ported/flapped EVO III big 16g turbo, EVO maf w/ intake, RC550cc injectors, Walboro 255lph hp pump, aeromotive afpr, kyb agx shocks, whiteline springs, apexi safc...yeah lots of goodies...last car on similar setup...minus the starion fmic was dyno'n at a little over 230hp at the wheels with a decent tune and only 15lbs of boost...miss it. So yeah the motivation has returned and it's build time.

Hmmm... all those sexahy parts to put on... what are you waiting for? Ever need some help while I am in town, just let me know. Not that I have had any experience like DRWRX on this platform, but I like learning (and wrenching)

We're always helping each other out, so feel free to ask! I've never worked on a Galant, but I've done just about everything but an engine swap on Subie's

I'll remind you that I had the Silverado, thank you very much.
Well, and then there was this time that I messed up my brake fluid change and had to rent a Cobalt for an Auto-X class
