To be honest, I don't know anyone who's ever been though it.

For what sort of training? For what sort of job?

Well, they have a Bachelors degree in Information Systems Security that piqued my interest.

I was originally considering going back to Devry since I already have about a semester's worth of credits there but I'm having trouble getting specifics on their courses.

I dunno what to say there. I know when reviewing engineering resumes I tend to consider ITT, Devry, UofPhoenix about on a level playing field, but lower than a classroom-4-year-degree. I don't know what the view of those programs are in the IT field. Anyone?

I took a couple semesters' worth of classes from devry. They weren't IT (english/lit), but I found the whole experience to be entirely annoying. The other students in the class were mostly retarded, the "prof" was about as smart as a booger freshly plucked from the anacostia. I went in and "toured" their "campus" in Crystal City (I used to live next door, actually), and I was shocked at just how bad their IT stuff was.

Obviously didn't finish the degree, but at the cost, it was obscene. I would suggest just taking night courses at NOVA or something.

^^^I think that pretty much answers my question. I'm pretty sure I'll learn what I'd want to learn but, it is worth it?

Why put forth the time and effort to get a degree that won't do you much good?

I got my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering there and its what you make of it. It you are willing to learn and study you can actually come away with a lot of knowledge. Myself and the other 6 people that graduated with me, all have outstanding jobs now. That makes it worth the 4 years in my eyes.

It is expensive!!
