Won't the Pioneer fit in your XT? Or are you leaving the stereo stock?

It'll fit in just fine. I'm just going to buy a different model for the XT.

BTW, this is a direct fit to all Subarus from 93+

I just had "Spoon Man" by Sound Garden in my head but replaced the "Spoon" w/ "Phone". I think I will listen to a little Chris Cornell on the way home! :)

Anyhoo, bump for you!

I want the Pearl, but can't afford it now. The Voyager just ain't cutting it.

I have an interview with Home Depot on Thursday. If I get the job, I'll take the laptop stand!

consider me #2 in line for the D1.

EDIT: any idea if the D1 has the "high speed" iPod interface? will check to see if the cable is still available. that's a deal maker/breaker for me.

Thanks for all the bumps fellas. I'm a bit of a gadget whore.

A$, I've only received a few offers so far. Let me know if you're teh serios about it and I'll tell everyone else it's sold. DCAWD always gets priority. 8)

G$, this model does not have the native full speed ipod interface. It can control the external P-bus adapter only.

Now keep in mind, it also has an auxiliary audio/video input - that's why I installed the mac mini in the car  You can also just use that as your audio/video in. Just a thought...

Colin - Thanks for the "first refusal rights" 8) However, after looking at our bank account and upcoming expenses ... it's just not gonna happen right now. Over to you, Gabe. :)

If anyone is still looking for a NAV system that is cheap and reliable, check out the Pioneer AVIC-D3. It can be had for ~700 now new.
