Gadget-addicted people have a bouquet of psychological symptoms, such as: euphoria and ecstasy from buying a new gadget, inability to stay away from appliances for long, the feeling of emptiness and depression that develops when a person does not purchase gadgets on a regular basis, disregard for family members and friends. Gadget mania can be harmful to health too: addicts suffer from dryness in the eyes, headaches and sleeping disorder.

I think I DO have Gadget Mania. In fact, Tuesday I'm going to get some old gadgets from Starland. While still contemplating getting a PS3, Drobo, Head unit (car), receiver (home), and speaker system (car and home). After just buying an eeePC, 2GB RAM (eeePC), 8GB SDHC (eeePC), Blackberry 8820, 4GB microSD (8820), 8800GT (gamingPC), 550W PSU (gamingPC), and tools... lots of tools. And that's the abridged list.


Any want to go to Starland on Tuesday?

I thought the Starland in Annandale closed. Has it moved to a different location?

not sure it's progressed to Gadget Mania, but I'm definitely at the Gadget Fetish stage.
