I rarely post here since all I had before was my wife's A4 and my ///M3, but I got rid of the ///M3 and bought a 05 Saab 92X. Can't wait to go to meets and GTG's.

Here is my 2005 Saab(aru) 9-2X Aero:

Damnit. I hate U. I want a wagon.

Other than that outburst, welcome back/home/in. Although the name says AWD, I have been known to show up in my FWD Saab, and a galaxy of rental cars and trucks. Others show up on motorcycles, Miatas, BMWs, Audis....

Just come on out and be a part. We get mad if you don't.

Wow, it's been a while since I've seen a Saabaru. Welcome to the fold Goob!

Very nice. I tried my hardest to find an '06 2.5L Saabaru but they are all gone or accounted for...none for sale :(

Very nice ride there. I've always wanted to see one of those become a monster! Definitely come out to a meet sometime!

So, how long do you intend to keep her stock?

Every time I see a stock WRX, STi, or 9-2X Aero I can't help but think about all that potential just waiting to be unleashed.

We can help. No really, we can. Just remember, what turns out to be free labor, may end up costing many dollars in parts that you wanted installed.

I have only really been able to molest on two wagons. Well, one really, the other was just an up-pipe that the kid didn't have studs for. That doesn't count like taking a butane powered soldering torch to the injector wiring harness...

I should stop there. I fear I may have scared you off.

Did I mention we have air tools and a compressor? No really, I should stop now.

Indeed! I believe it is a crime to own a WRX / FXT / STi / 9-2X Aero that isn't stage 2. I'm not certain what the punishment should be, but it should involve community service of some kind at least.

Hey some of us are waiting on COBB for '07+ Forester XT AP! I give them until March 31st or I am getting a DELTA.

Stock XT power makes me sad  all my lonely parts waiting to go on.

Have there been any breakthroughs with EcuFlash and the canbus systems yet? Haven't checked the forums there in a while...

In a word, NO.
So far, I believe only ECUTEK has released software that works.
Cobb's is due soon and I have seen a number of posts on the NASIOC forums of people testing with it (Big Al, Perrin, Sponaugle and a few others) but there are currently no base MAPs available so release is still a little ways out, but I'm betting not too far out.

There is of course a grace period before the penalty is assessed.

You get a pass.

. . .for now

My have to get the TXS WB Tuner addition as well...might have to sell my PLX M300 unit.

For the time being, you could always talk to an ECUTEK tuner and see what they would charge for a tune and leave your ECU unlocked so that when ECUflash does become available you can do what you need.

Just an option.
