After some consideration I'd like to sell my catted cobb turboback and go with a full 3" from turbo to axle. I'm currently leaning towards this:

Coupled with:

Opinions, Laughter, Offers on the cobb?

I want a full 3" all the way back and a divorced WG to give my 20G the least possible restriction. From what I've read the Cobb setup is great until about 300WHP then it becomes a bit of a restriction.

Daddy's is nice, just expensive. I like the COBB 3" TBE as well. Whatever makes you happy, right?

I love the cobb but not the 2.5" taper @ midpipe :) It's a great piece of engineering and sounds awesome. Wanna buy it? ;)

I would if I didn't already have a Stromung 2.5" intermediate pipe to mate between my COBB 3" catted DP and my 2.5" Prodrive Oval tipped axleback  If that is too loud, I will leave the 3" COBB DP on and just put on the OEM STI catback. I just don't want any annoying drone. Will just have to wait and see. Your COBB 3" TBE should be pretty easy to sell.

Oh, got your PM, too. See you tonight. Thanks again. :D

If you go 3", be prepared to drive across speed bumps at an angle. And forget about lowering the suspension...

Your links aren't working, so I can't tell what you are planning on getting.

I actually think the cobb has the best design for cat placement, it's as close to the back of the downpipe as it can be. Cats closer to the turbo are more efficient becuase they heat up faster but also create more back pressure than those like the Cobb design. So, unless your thinking of going catless you are not going to gain any noticable power from the down-pipe, even it it doesn't taper to 2.5"

Yep, my power drops off around 5800 due to the cat (which is about 6" fromthe turbo), not my exhaust pipe size.

pipe size... 6"... decreased performance

Don't they make pills for that?
