Hmmm... definitely tempting. I'm also trying to see No Country For Old Men and Persepolis.
I'll let you know tonight whether I can make it for either day.

if another date/time works better for everyone, i'm not opposed to an alternative.

No country was really good. Only if you didn't read the book. If you did read the book, you can see that the Cohen Bros didn't adapt the book into a screenplay.
What you read was what you see.

I hear the movie takes a while to get going. (20mins before anyone says a word) even after that it's slow paced. But it's supposed to be pretty good.

ok well let's shoot for this thursday, 8:10pm, shirlington. that'll leave wednesday open for the taco brigade and give people an extra day to plan accordingly (read: fake out).

this movie isn't for everybody but I enjoyed it. Daniel Day Lewis is a force of nature. wish he would act more often...

Looks very good, but should I wait till it's out on video? (based on what you all have said)

I'd almost say see it in the theater so you're forced to watch it in one sitting, with no distractions to the intensity of DDL's performance.

^^ Yea, the DDL showcase movie was crazy intense.
CRAZY intense...

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. watch it in a theatre. The movie's kinda long and you're easily distracted so it's probably best that you see whilst it's still on the big screen.
