Naa, a 37 will get you into the 500-600's. 40's put you in the 600+ club!

Hmm, I will have to recheck my turbo magazine but maybe they were running GT45Rs hitting 900WHP in the EVOs (basically it was the largest GT rotated turbo for the EVO but I am senile today so I can't remember the model)...think one of them was the AMS Evo. Aside from drag racing, there is no point in having that much WHP in a daily driver.

Heh considering the HP it puts out, a lot less than you spent and a lot more power!

oh both.........i heard the wrx can handle jsut about 300 whp though..

STI:
Tranny: Rumored to be 600whp
Engine: Rumored to be 500whp

WRX:
Tranny: Rumored to be 300whp
Engine: Rumored to be 375whp

FXT:
Tranny: Rumored to be 350whp
Engine: Rumored to be 500whp

Keep in mind that this depends on A LOT of factors. Phil from Element Tuning has been running 500whp on a stock STI tranny/engine for awhile without any problems. Zak runs near 300whp on his WRX without any problems... alot of it comes down to tuning and driving style.

My motor's oil pump failed on the track (Summit Point). Since nothing was getting any oil, it took the turbo, heads and bearings with it :( Since I was rebuilding it, I decided I'd build it right and better than before :)
