I was thinking the same thing and bought a bag of grape chew last weekend

but I haven't opened it b/c I fear my son will eat AND swallow it all...that will just make getting him to go poop a lot worse.
That is all.

haha...no, I don't think so

I have been trying to get my son to get his #2 down pat since turning 3 yrs old (don't worry, when/if you have a kid you will understand

). He just recently (as of 2 weeks ago or so...my memory is failing me) started pooping on the big toilet and trying to get him to go everyday instead of waiting 2-5 days

so he has been going and it is an exciting thing for a parent who is potty training their kid(s).
Okay, back on topic.

Okay I have time to write now.
Problem 1
"Broken pipe."
That's the error I get when I try to connect to my Windows share that worked fine in Tiger. Whether I try to connect through Finder or through the command-line it's the same thing. At least the finder gives me a code (error code: -6602) which turns up jack squat. Other than that all I get is "syserr: broken pipe".
However I can still connect to the share from my other Windows and Ubuntu machines. From the Mac I can see the shares, even RDC in to the computer with the share. But mounting the share is FAIL.
Nuisance 2
iTunes for Windows.
I normally don't have a problem with iTunes. In fact, it's my primary music player for everything except streams. But usually when I'm in a game I use the media keys on my keyboard so I can have music going whilst I'm pwning j00 n00bz. But it all of a sudden it stopped working. I'm thinking there's a problem with my keyboard. No no no... it seems Apple took out the media key functionality in a recent iTunes update. I was able to fix this though. Trolling through some Apple and Logitech forums I was able to find the mmkeys.dll that was apparently taken out in 7.2. FAIL.
Gripe 3
Connecting to WPA encrypted WiFi
This has always been an epic fail for Apple. It's sucked in Tiger and it hasn't gotten any better in Leopard. Sure I can connect to the network but only for about 5-10 minutes at a time. After that I lose my connection. So to reconnect I'm forced to restart Airport. I thought they would've fixed this but apparently it's still FAIL.

Yeah and that's why I still have Tiger and XP. It seems you cannot buy the first batch of anything this day and age. It's doomed to break. You have to wait for enough complaints and/or deaths before the company puts out the unbroken version.

Odd I did not have that problem w/ leopard on my laptop and my linux box running samba... I wonder if it's a bug in the version of samba you have on the mac or something.... definitely weird.

Not that I know
anything about Macs, but ... I'm gonna speak up anyway. I heard that those performing an upgrade had problems while those who did a clean install had few (-er) problems. Did you do an upgrade?

That actually could be it as I only did fresh installs of leopard.

I tried doing an upgrade.
It was FAIL.So I ended up doing one of those "install but retain files and settings" deals.

What happens with a new user account? Got any copies of any of the logs (crash.log, etc) you'd like to share? Kill your prefs yet?

Haven't tried creating a new account. I don't really see why that would work but I'll try it and if it does the MBP is going out the f**king window.
When I get home tonight I'll save off console/ error logs. But all they say is "Broken Pipe" for the share problem. The wifi logs are just as useless so I haven't bothered looking at them for a while. But I'll connect again so it it can FAIL and then post the results.
