join the STI frat?!?!?

Post by Mr Kleen »

anybody else get the email about getting a "custom" iPod touch when you pre-order an 08 STI?

the Subaru web site says "pledge now."
so the 08 is a frat car now? does it also come with a vintage Abercrombie t-shirt and baseball cap to wear backwards?

You fill it out and get a nice STI tshirt...since that is over, nevermind. Stupid or not, free stuff is good stuff unless it screws you over and steals a bunch of info from you or you end up spending tons of money that you didn't think you had to...not that it has happened to me. If you are going to get an '08 STi, why not get a free iPod as well. That is all.

it's not the front end that lights a fire within, it's the rear.

ha ha, yeah. The guy at Don Beyer (sp?) Subaru right down the road from me was all about trying to make the Ipod Touch sound like an amazing bonus for pre-ordering a STi. Sweet, for paying full MSRP I get a free Ipod Touch! What an amazing deal!

Granted I HIGHLY doubt anyone will be able to get a STi for under MSRP for quite a while.
