Anyone know of an aftermarket skid plate that replaces the plastic POS and has doors for changing oil ? ( Like the newer LGT )

There are ebay replacements, but RallyArmor's is REALLY nice.

Does theirs have the doors? I checked out their site and didn't see a mention of the oil change labor savers

I don't believe their's does. Keep in mind, the people that buy skid plats usually want to protect everything under the car, so there won't be any holes in them

Primitive's stuff is possibly the best. Get the thick stuff if you want true protection!

Here is a shot of the Primitive Skid plate: (note type that says oil filter access)
I'm now thinking I need one of these!

Here is a thought:
Buy whatever one you like, then cut holes out of it.
Done.
I got mine for $75 and actually like taking it off b/c it gives me a great big drip pan to cover up my mess.

You always get some drip when changing teh oil, it is nice to have a handy, reusable catch.

While that sounds like a good idea 3/16" is pretty darn thick and not too easy to cut.

Well, with a little help from O2 and C2H2 I can go through 1/4 steel plate with ease. 6000 degrees is a pretty sharp hacksaw.
Amazing what a tripple bonded hydrocarbon can do...

Odd question for ya.... last time I changed my oil (which was 8 days ago) you had to remove the oil filter AND the oil.... do you know of some way to remove all the oil out of the filter opening?
I hope I'm getting my point across... ok, since some people might not: You are still going to have to remove the plate to get to the oil drain plug. The oil doesn't come straight down, so that little hole in the bottom of the skid plate above is NOT going to do it. The reason you were looking for a replacement was so that you didn't have remove it to change the oil. Looks like to me no matter what aftermarket skidplate you go with, you're going to have to remove the whole thing when you change your oil.
