Isn't the BMW bike a boxer engine?

Some BMWs are.

This is a 1-cylinder engine Fuji Heavy developed for ATVs, though its not a Boxer.

Though FHI is no stranger to making single-cylinder engines:
Polaris Industries is the world's #1 maker of snowmobiles and the #2 maker of four- and six-wheeled all-terrain recreational and utility vehicles (behind Honda). It also makes Victory cruiser and sport cruiser motorcycles. Other products include replacement parts, accessories (covers, tow hitches, cargo racks), and recreational clothing and gear (boots and helmets). The company also offers financing services. Polaris has a joint venture, Robin Manufacturing, USA, with Fuji Heavy Industries to build engines for its products and companies in noncompetitive industries. Polaris has discontinued its unprofitable line of personal watercraft.

Specs all sound particularly "meh".

And if it's only a single? Super meh. Unless it is a motard. Then it becomes FTW.

Plus (if they did make one) teh horizontally opposed twins all have a higher center of gravity then something inline or parallel. That's a *huge* freaking deal when you've only got two wheels.

I don't think I'd rock it. :(

(it kinda looks like a K4-K7 SV650S)
