Wiring up wideband for logging

Post by Phibs »

Anyone know if it would be feasible to power this via a lighter adapter? I have one and a 5a fuse, I am just curious as to where to ground it. I don't want to mount it in my car ( since it's Darrin's ) and it would be temporary. Any ideas?

The lighter is on a 20A circuit, so a 5A draw should be fine. If you are using the lighter for power, might as well use it's ground too.

My PLX M300 WB uses a cigarette lighter adapter. Just make sure you do proper WB O2 warm up before turning on the car. Otherwise, the sensor won't last long.
