Sure sounds good. Doubt the fixing could occur there but you can certainly see if you can figure out where it is :) I really think it's between the Turbo And UPPipe, that's gonna be a bitch :(

These look like them:

Appropriate parts for my application? I'm down for trying anything.

Yes, those are them.

Not to be a parts whore, but I have all of the Subaru Remflex exhaust gaskets in stock.

Remember, an exhaust leak does not mean a faulty gasket. Your gaskets may be just fine.

Not to add worries to your head, but it could be a broken weld, a stud that let loose, or improper nut tightening sequence or torque. Since Darrin helped, I would not bet on the latter possibility.

If I were trying to locate the exact position of an exhaust leak, i would seal the tailpipe very well, remove the rear O2 sensor and seal that with a plug that you can connect to compressed air. Pump in the air with the car off and you can listen for even the smallest leak. You can also light a few sticks of incense and pass them around looking for the air to blow the smoke around.

If you are looking to do it the James Bondo way:
cut out the inner tube of a bike tire with the valvestem and use a large box-end wrench to press the tubing over the bung with the valve sticking through. Then hook an inflator up to it and have someone stick their head in and around the turbo to listen.
