so apparently subaru in the UK wants to overemphasize how grippy the new impreza is . so much that they are shipping some cars upside down on the truck! in other news, rubbernecking fatalities have increased 73,000%.

and THIS just in as well... THEY'RE STILL UGLY.

The 'Subaglue' campaign was devised by London-based advertising agency, MCBD and the three upside-down cars were bolted to the upper deck after having their engines and transmissions removed.

Wow they weren't lying. Reading really IS fundamental!

But this of course begs the questions: Are they transporting the removed hardware in the upright cars? Are they only shipping three cars at a time? Wait, is this not an 'actual' shipping truck but only a rolling billboard?

Occam's Razor implies the latter.

i would imagine that they're only shipping 3 legit cars to be sold. the upside down ones are probably for show.

a seemingly wasteful effort (space, $, time, wtf/e), but subaru probably thinks that this kind of viral marketing will help boost sales (they're right).

if the 3 on top are real cars... how do they get them off?... they cant lower the deck to unload them

I'd like to fire a rail-gun at the "intended target" of the '08 Impreza and the managers that pushed the new design... :x

Pretty funny...

Given the railing on top.... I'm guessing that they are all engine/trannyless
