congrats. maybe it looks more stable with out the wing flopping around. but at higher speeds there's no comparison to the planting feeling the high wing gives. looks great.

Chicken: A guy from NASIOC. He has an STI and swapped for this trunk awhile back, but wants the wing back.

Thermobox: Agreed

it's the ass-pen white sti brigade up in nyuh. we should start a sub-club. screw these honkeys. ;)

+1 to the planted...ness of the sti wing. but screw getting profiled by cops and always thinking someone's following you (due to seeing the giant wing out of the corner of your eye in the rear view).

Yeah agreed for sure. I'd love a wing that would come out for high speeds and hide during normal driving but if I have to choose it's Wing--.

Well, provided you stick to the speed limit. Get the car above 120, and it makes an enormous difference. I don't get up to 120 that often, but I hit 110 probably twice a week. The aerodynamic pieces on the car are garish, but they're designed that way.

Ask Ross about the wing and its riciness.

Looks good mang! Welcome to the "I don't look like I'm racing a shopping cart" club. It's nice, if not slightly bittersweet.

I was sad about losing the "big" wing on my STi, but I also felt very happy to no longer have it...

The STi wing is definitely a love/hate thing.

(i like the look. is good) :ya:

hehe yeah no more cart handle. The performance side of me misses it.... for a few seconds. I absolutely love the look and being able to see out the mirror again.

unless you have a paint color that Subaru only used for a single model year. I love the black pearl, but I can't find a wingless swap after a few years of trying.

car looks great with the low wing, BTW.

DOH good point :( I wasn't sure I could find an Aspen white either. I don't see many white WRXs.

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
