RPM pickup on STi

in Dynoing a STi, i couldn't find a good RPM pickup reference. where do you guys reference it at when you dyno?

Hmm, if you mean what gear we pull in it's 5th. That is the closest to 1:1 that we get for Dyno runs.

I thnik you might have missunderstood me. I'm looking for an RPM reference so that the dyno can est. an engine speed (usually you put it on a sparkplug cable). I know that the Sti uses a coil-on plug ignition. where would be the best place to receive this signal be on an STi
