I need to get rid of the GTO... to damned expensive, i though about buying a used car like a beater, nope not gonna work, so i need to get something cheap easy to mod, and reliable, also cheap to run

so... on that note, I am turning 90000* and must be dizzy, because, I have decided to buy a Honda Fit...

Well, Muegen or whatever they are has a broad line of aftermarket items for the Fit. The platform responds quite well to bolt-ons, from what I have seen in print.

Good luck

the fit is the sh1t. they have an awd version in japan. they do respond well to mods. and you can do a k series motor swap if your feelin frisky

well the k series swap has not been done on this side of the pond and Mugen even said that it completely throws off the balance of the car

there are a crapload of mods out already, mostly chassis stiffners some performance, but supposedly even with a turbo swap your only looking at 200whp most. I was thinking JR SC over turbo because i plan to use this as a daily and a race car but maybe if the turbo is small enough it won't be an issue

like i said... its nice and all, but, even mugen said handling is compromised by swapping in the k20 too much extra weight

That looks like quite a bit of work... nevermind maintaining the motor/trans.

"I need to change my trans gasket and the exhaust manifold gasket"

"drop off your car, leave it for a week, it'll be $1500."

"$1500?!? WTF??!"

"We have to drop your engine out of the bottom of the car to reach them. "

"Oh... :( "

The Fit and the xA I'd expect to be good little cars. Don't worry about leaving the goat, you'll have that speed back soon with either of the above :)

well... i decided against the fit, after a test drive, for small reasons, which i was told are standard honda issues. no dead pedal, pedal placement, its awfully heavy for as tiny as it is

yeah even though the goat is spensive, it is a better platform stock, i find it funny reading about how some of em get worse mileage then i get in the goat right now i avg about 24-25mpg, i read posts about them only gettin 19-21 mpg... so my engine being 4x the size is more efficient especially being nearly twice the weight

lawl... also, i am looking at a nice lil TT kit and a light cam, should be enough for 6**whp

also getting another job possibly, which will help my habit
