2008 Subaru Impreza WRX review: 7.5
c/net wrote:Subaru's WRX gained cult popularity among video gamers and drivers who wanted racing performance on a budget. We tested out the newest iteration, the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX, and have some bad news: the WRX has matured.

I love their reviews:
-Check out the navi system, ZOMGZ!!!1
-We tried our best to make an all wheel burnout.
-Not a bad car.
Did anyone else get anything more out of that review?

I think something is wrong w/ me...the exterior is starting to look okay to me...except that rear looks like a Chevy Malibu mated w/ a Nissan Altima.
Do not like the plastic intake manifold or no rear limited slip diff

Yet it, and entire engine compartment looks strangely familiar. . . Wait did someone say Legacy GT!
I do have to say, if the WRX engine bay is as easy to work in as the LGT, I'm sold. I have never done a downpipe as fast as I have on a LGT. From up on ramps to off on the road in a little over an hour. It was a walk in the park. Much easier than the WRX / STi / FXT. And I should know, I've done about a dozen of them!
It will also open up the after market parts bin for LGT owners now that they will both share similar engine/TMIC set-ups. I can only assume the FXT will follow shortly there after.

I never said I didn't like the LGT, just prefer a metal intake manifold to a plastic one
There is supposed to be a huge remodeling of the forester in '09, hopefully it doesn't suck and I hope SOA doesn't screw me by finally putting the FSTi out in '09...I will be mad pissed!!!!
