the June issue of Grassroots Motorsports has changed my mind about getting a front sway to compliment my Progress rear sway and Kartboy endlinks. they tested various setups on an NA 2005 Saabaru at Ocala Gran Prix. I'll summarize their results here.

new wheels and tires: 41.60 seconds
WRX Sedan rear sway: 41.40 seconds
Hotchkis rear sway (middle setting) + Kartboy endlinks: 41.02 seconds
Addco front sway + Kartboy endlinks: 40.63 seconds

the article is a great read and (obviously) goes into more detail about the setups and results. long story short: I'm ordering a front sway this weekend.

EDIT: one more point - the addition of the front sway not only cut 0.38 from their time, it also made the car much more predictable and easier to drive at the limit. I should have included that info. check out the article for more info. GRM FTW!

That's a nice write up. I've been praising a good front sway in these cars since the beginning. Keeping the front end firmly planted reeeeely helps them rotate well.

I read the same article last night.

GRM is the one magazine I look forward to reading.
