Seatbelt Squeak

This has got to be the weirdest question I can come up with...
My driver-side seatbelt squeaks whenever it moves in the B-pillar. Does anyone know how to get it to stop squeaking?
I'm assuming that the belt is made of some kind of nylon or other petroleum-based plastic-type fabric so it may not be a wise idea to use petroleum-based lubricants.

^^^ It's not latex, so you'd probably be fine

Okay, so a quick search on NABISCO pointed me to this solution on
Scooby Mods.
I'll try it out and let everyone know how it goes.

I've got a dremel if you need a hand. I haven't noticed this on my WRX, but it's nice to know that there is a solution if I do.

Wow! It's been two frickin' years since I first complained about this and it's taken that long to actually do the fix?
Anyway, I just now took off the plastic piece and cut away the plastic. This was faaaaar easier than I ever thought it'd be. Took all of 5 minutes start to finish. For those wishing to do this to their car - the piece is just snapped into place and has one "push-pin" style plug holding it on.
Just remove the plug on the back-side of the B-pillar (rear driver's side door) and unsnap the whole piece. The plastic "rib" is super soft and I cut it with my utility knife (standard knife safety rules apply). Snap the piece back in and you're done.

Today he can remember a thread he posted two years ago, once the baby comes he'll be wondering why the pacifier doesn't fit into the ignition and why the baby doesn't want to suck on his keys.
