2004 DCAWD Meet Schedule

Post by ElZorro »

Hey everyone! Julian and I had developed a pattern for the "regular" meets (every other week, cycling through M, T, W and Th), we've decided to make this formal and post the meet schedule out in advance. This should reduce the "hey, when is the next meet?" questions, and it gives everyone lots of goodness to look forward to.

THU 23SEP04
MON 04OCT04
TUE 19OCT04
WED 03NOV04
THU 18NOV04
MON 29NOV04
TUE 14DEC04
WED 29DEC04

This is what we are thinking today (14SEP04), if anyone has any suggestions or feedback post here, pm myself or Sabre, or send us emails at <jason, julian> at dcawd.com

Hey, when's the next meet?

 Muwahahaha

Schedule looks good to me. It's like a little bit of sunshine twice a month.

I need more meets!

Post by zaxrex »

Besides hockey (cough, Thursday evenings, cough), meets are a high point of my being (cough, broke up w. GF, cough). Maybe MiniMeets or somehting. I can substitute weekend drives and winter ski trips etc. but wouldn't mind a more plentiful schedule, once I have my car back.

I just realized one of the meets is on Nov 18th, my b-day! Hmm, go to meet or do something else... so far, I have no plans, guess I'll be there ;)

Zack, sorry to hear about you and Laura :( That sucks, but everything works out for the best. I know what you mean about the meets, as soon as the meet is over, I'm already looking forward to the next. You're always welcome to Deep Creek for skiing!!

Any news on the Rex?

We usually announce them a couple days in advance for a small meet and about a week in advance for a large meet. Through the winter they'll probably be having smaller dinner get-togethers. Historically, dinner has been at Hard Times in Springfield at about 8pm.
