What FMIC kit would you all recommend for a 2005 STI?
I'm looking for something clean and decently priced. If there isn't anything
out there that is clean, a member willing to help make it clean would do

depends on the size intercooler you want, the type of pipe routing, price, etc.

Hey Bryan,
Unless you are going with a larger turbo, there is no need to go with a FMIC... unless you just like the looks. Keep in mind on the stock turbo, you'll get a little more lag from a FMIC.

Of course I want a larger turbo.

One other thing to keep in mind. If you know what you're doing, it's a 4 hour install. It also requires significantly cutting into your bumper. Just a warning

Do you have an idea of how much turbo you want on the car? The FMIC, as Julian said, is not really required unless you're going to go apeshit with boost. You might go with a bigger top mount (there are plenty of them).
It's helpful if you can give more information about what you're trying to do.

to the comments above. A LOT of our members use large TMIC's for this very reason. Bigger core takes care of the larger turbo and you don't loose any boost response!
Just depends on which turbo you're going with

I had
this FMIC on my 05 STi and I was
very pleased with it. Stupid cheap as well.
If you're looking to upgrade the turbo as well, it's not a bad choice. Certainly a great way to minimize heat soak and cool down the intake charge!
