I just thought a quote from the singer SEAL was appropriate for this situation: "If I could, I would now, baby!" Hope they get some FSTi's over here soon.

I think b/c it will steal the sales from the impreza WRX STi. It does have more stock power than the impreza and that will make some people upset. Oh, and that power figure above is at the wheels.

even if that were the case, of which i'm still not entirely convinced, at least that money would stay in the "family."
personally, i think it wouldn't affect sales too much since the impreza crowd is a different animal overall than the forester crowd. the 2 sides of the subaru world are represented by those models, and each seems to have a loyal fan base.
