Apple adding H.264 hardware in all Macs?

go mac! It'll be interesting to see how windows PCs will respond to this.

That did sound pretty interesting, especially considering the recent trends at Apple to incorporate the "digital lifestyle". Makes sense to me... Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm excited. By the time I'm ready to buy another Mac, they will have some nifty stuff going on!

Wow, adding hardware encoding/decoding would definitely help push them beyond "beige" PC's in that respect! I'd love a PC that could output those resolutions to a HDTV without a lot of the crap that Vista requires you to have. Hmm... one more reason my next PC will probably be a Mac!
