You can also create encrypted "drives" and such... for pretty much every OS platform out there... Pretty kewl stuffs. I think I tried this sometime last year.

Free, encrypted backups are a pretty neato idea if you ask me. :)

In Gmail you can set a filter so everything skips the inbox and goes to the archive.

Note on this one, make a 'throw away' account for this, as Google has taken to detecting and shutting down accounts when folks use stuff like this.
