To let everyone know this meet is open to all cars and brought to you by http://www.militaryperformance.com and Twistedelegance ! We are going to be making care packages for the troops overseas and will be taking donations.. Show your support for the troops, sure it might be cold out, but just think of the soildiers and sailors overseas that would love to be here to come to the meet! At the same time you can help us help them! We will post up later what to bring if you want to give a donation, for the care packages!

Hey guys, if you wanna bring something for the care packages, things that are a good idea for care packages are global prepaid phone cards, sunscreen, disposable cameras, travel size toiletries, and a personal note of thanks for their service and sacrifice. Also since this is a car meet I figure if you got old car magazines you dont read anymore, bring them along too! I'm sure all our fellow soldiers could use some good reading and the models in em will help too.... (trust me on that from experience lol)

8PM Saturday night in February? any chance of moving the time up? that late it will be cold and dark. not exactly the best conditions for hanging out in a parking lot to look at cars...

are you going to make it to any DCAWD meets before then? might be able to gather up some items for the care packages and hand them off to you (or somebody else who will attend).

I will be at the Eastcoastboost meet on february 1st if anyone has anything to drop off to me be at fairfax corner @ 730 or give it to one of the other ECBer's like Jay or Glenn

Donations went great! Glad everyone braved the cold to make it out! This will be a monthly meet although we're taking march off to find a better spot. So keep your eyes peeled for meet # 2, come April!

How are you shipping these goods? Have you worked out something with a local barracks or base? or a local shipping company? I'd be curious to learn a little more the process.

i will be working that out with the chaplain for my base here very shortly...We're probably going to be sending them over on an AF plane out of Andrews or Charleston.. If you ever want to send anything over let me know. We'll do everything we can to help out!

we should do this sometime soon. maybe send some stuff to the troops to celebrate DCAWD's birthday?
