Located in Ashburn, VA.

I've got a custom made TurboXS/Perrin Exhaust that I'm selling.

The exhaust bolts up to the standard TurboXS catalytic converter section. On the TurboXS midpipe, where the 3" to 2.5" taper was, a 3" section of Stromung pipe was welded on, and it bolts up to a twin tipped Perrin muffler.

I would like to sell this for $350.

I also have a TurboXS race pipe, which I will include for an extra $50. When combined with the rest of the exhaust and a TXS downpipe, this will give you an extremely well flowing 3" exhaust system.

My only reason for selling this is that it's loud and my wife hates it.

Please contact me at samoharris@aol.com if you are interested.

All you need is a TurboXS downpipe and cat. I sell parts as a side project (www.turbometrics.com), so I can get you a good deal on these. Or you can get them at Mach V, TurboXS, or any other decent WRX shop.

I can help you do the install. Hell, I can do it by myself in like 1.5 hours :D

Well, to say im interested is an understatement. I live in Lorton, but work out in chantilly. My uncle lives out in ashburn.

If you can get me a price on the complete system, that would be cool. Hell, ill even take you up on the offer for install, ill help, and maybe learn something along the way.

Now, about up pipes. What are those, and should i go ahead an install one while im at it? how much and how hard is the install?

Im pretty much interested in how i can free up airflow throughout my whole car.

Uppipes are what connect your headers to your turbo. The flow of exhaust is as followes:

Engine -> Headers -> Upipe -> Turbo -> Downpipe -> Midpipe -> Muffler -> Air :)

Until you get a bigger turbo, the uppipe/headers will not help you much (and in fact might hender). The reason for this is 1.) We (STI's) don't have cat's in our uppipes like WRX's, so no gain in spool from there and 2.) Larger pipes before the turbo will help push more air to a larger turbo, but with a smaller turbo like the stock one, it has to work harder to fill that extra space and causes more lag (bad). Hope that helps :)
