Some 07 STI news...

Post by Sabre »

Sounds like the 07 sti has an automatic i/c spray that sprays itself under boost or heavy throtle conditions. You can still spray it manually by pushing the button, but now when the ECU detects mild to high boost or when the throttle position sensor detects certain parameters it will spray the intercooler.

Also, looks like the numbers with just headers, a turboback and a tune are getting ridiculous!

Stock 242hp 245tq
Headers and Turbo Back 282hp 284tq
After Tune 319hp 389tq
100 octane map. 333hp 411tq

Didn't the older STi's have this....they had two buttons, one for manual spray and one for auto.

That is just nuts. Was the APS manifold equal length?

I hope that when the new FSTi comes out, it will borrow some of that wealth.

It's ok Luke, one day you'll have one back! Besides, you're running around in a total PIMPmobile now!

Hmm...SVX w/ 6spd tranny swap and turbo H6 motor sounds very nice!

my thoughts exactly. i also would like to modify the front end to look more impreza-ish... but enough on that. i dont want to hijack this thread too much. i'll create a new thread for what i hope to do down the road with an SVX.
