Looks great, but the performance is pretty tame.

Except that whole part about it being lifted from the Type-R jaguars and the Cadillac Spec V's... :)

To be honest, we both like it a lot too. One of the things we want to do with our car is get the wheels powdercoated black (we went with the STI instead of a Corvette, which comes with "competition black" wheels). The performance is really only tame if you consider going outside the realm of Subaru parts. Subaru wanted, I think, $1,000 for the catback, they want $300 for the intake, the lip spoiler is kind of spendy, the grille ain't free, and the body color wheels isn't either. I dunno, I think that's a pretty neat package, but it's going to be auctioned which means it isn't going to be cheap. Sigh.

If Subaru came out with a 450-hp STI next year that had that same look, I'd be all over it. I suspect it will be a little while before anything like that happens, though.

Damn, that is pretty hot. I wonder how much it will end up going for!

Good choice putting $4,000 rims on your 1990 Honda Civic. That's like Betty White going out and getting her tits done.
