Looks like both of your links are borked. Edit the post and copy and paste the full url in, my guess is that you copied the post from another board.

And, also, welcome!

first one are the rims and the second are the tires.. what you think.
I used the Cont. Extreme Contacts on my 04 STI and was very happy with them in the snow. Don't expect them to be awesome tires for AutoX or anything, but they do the job very well during the winter :)

Oh, BTW... According to them, they fit. I'd still check around though. Nothing like spending tons of hard earned $$$, then having stuff that doesn't fit :(

A friend of mine had Conti's on his car when it was in dual climate areas (winter and summer). He had no complaints about the tires at all. They are a good choice and the money.

And with 245 series rubber on, you'll have a nice large contact patch. Hope they fit well on the 7" rims.

If you're going to do a dedicated winter tire and wheel combo, I would HIGHLY recommend the Blizzak's. Ask Jason about how well he did on a set last winter. Excellent winter tire.

If you want hardcore snow tires, get the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 2's. They got me through a horrible upstate New York winter (200+ inches of snow).
