chin spook from limited sti
I was at Don Beyer in Alexandria last night and saw their silver STI limited. One thing it has is a sort of "ground effects" composed of a different rear bumper fascia, a chin spook, and door sills. I asked if I could get the front bumper (I like that spook a lot), and the sales man (Derek, who sold us our STI) says it's just a strip of plastic they screw on to the bottom. Has anyone else confirmed this? It seemed to be part of the bumper to me. If it is just something I can order and attach to my car, I might do that when I get the stainless steel lines, pads, and intake done.
One thing he also said that was curious is that the seats in the limited are the same as the seats in the STI, only they're leather. My understanding was that this is not the case. The seats in the limited are bigger, cushier, and heated. They don't look like th Recaros. Comments?

You know, I've always heard it referred to as a "spook", even when I was in college. Of course, now that I look around on the intarweb trying to find somebody else referring to it as such (even on usenet!) nobody's talking. Sigh.sirwilliam wrote:It is called a "Lip spoiler". That was my car you saw Yeah you can order the lip now at www.subarugenuineparts.com as well as the other one posted. Sucks for those that ordered pre-usdm huge difference in price.
The seats are the same in leather with grey stiching for the logo. It's been discussed on nasioc that the LTD seat are narrower than the regular STi seats. I'll let you know i'm taking delivery this friday!

Yep, never here either. Where did you go to school? Might be a regional thing.
