Funny street sign

I went to Richmond this weekend for motorcycle class (sweet), and took the time to visit my friend's new house out in the middle of nowhere.

She was giving me directions over the phone. At first, everything was normal: instate here, local road there... Until things went terribly awry, and she gave the final address:

LICKING HOLE RD.!

I made her say it three times until I believed that she was serious. If only we could all be so fortunate to live in such attractively named places.

:rolllaugh: There are some good ones up in western MD too. I'll try to remember to write them down.

It's kinda like the first time I saw Backlick Rd., Hooes Rd., and Assunpink Creek.

There was no street sign for it... I missed it the first time and went barrelling off the road and into a mud pit with an XB.

Hey, it was the middle of nowhere. A road and a mere opening in the woods look remarkably similar
