Well, I have these springs sitting brand new in the box in my office...they will just get dusty and I could use the cash towards other mods.

SOLD
.

DADDY's SPRING LINKY

Daddy's Website wrote:MadDad(TM) Road Hugga Series progressive rate sport springs were designed for the real world of less than perfect road conditions. Road Hugga springs use a modest drop of only 1.1" front and 1.0" rear, combined with modest spring rates of only 202lbs Front and 187lbs Rear, similiar to MY02-03 JDM STi Pinks with just a bit more road compliance in the front to deal with real world US road conditions. The result are handling that is dramticaly improved while retaining a level of compliance and civility that competing springs simply don't offer. We've also made sure that our height drop has not compromised your ability to drive your car up on to a set of Rhino Ramp car ramps, should you still like to tinker under your own car. You won't get that with the majority of competing springs that go for the big drop. Feature Summary:

* Optimal progressive rate offers balance of comfort and control
* Engineered for the street, not the race track
* Modest 202lbs Front and 187lbs Rear spring rates are ideal for real world road driving
* Handling improvement that is immediately apparent
* Modest height drop, tested to ensure ability to still use car ramps(tested with Rhino Ramps)

The primary reason I haven't said yes yet is because I know I'd have to find those rear strut top hat thingamabobbers.

Those should be easy to find. You could grab some upgraded ones as well if you want.

My reason for uncertainty... Afterall I'm building a car from Will's spare/used parts, just like that Johnny Cash song.

If I can throw in '03 rear top hats, does anyone want these?

Update:

Found a VA local selling his '03 rear strut top hats for $35 shipped. So basically here is the equation:

$100 for brand new Maddad springs
+ $35 for used '03 rear strut top hats
----------------------------------------
Total: $135 for happiness and :drive:

I wrote a haiku of sorts in honor of the cheap springs:

My car needs the springs
Alas, its age is very great
Therefore I just watch

So why don't you get them? Won't find a better deal around for brand new springs.

Not sure, can you mount the springs from an '02-'03 WRX in your car?

Actually. I might be interested. With my recent decision to put cash into handling rather than speed on my RS.
