I think the element that adds that final piece of "class" is the big crack in the windshield.

Yep, not a fan, but that's because I try to keep as under the radar as possible. I have almost everything hidden in my car :)

I'm torn on it. Personally I realyl dont like relying on idiot lights. I love gagues. However there are obviously positioned to grab attention. My old LTD had gagues extending the whole way across the passanger side dasboard..but they were low, not brightly lit, and functional (oil pressure, amps, etc)

What's with al the confounded gauges?!?! :wtf: Why on earth would you have to monitor that much stuff while you're driving???!!!! Yeah, try to talk yourself out of a ticket with that crap. :?

I was thinking about getting one of those gauge clusters to replace my clock for a while but I can't think of three things I want to monitor while I'm driving. Except for maybe boost and oil temp but still that only two things. This guy looks like he's cleared for take off.

Got Gauges? I love the way a good gauge looks... but that might be a bit too much. My biggest worry is the guy that doesn't have those and wants those and gets them from ya!

I'm a bit lost. 7 gauges plus the Greddy ProFec sitting on the dash. How the hell do you keep track of it all?
Boost
AFR
oil temp
oil pressure
EGT
coolant temp?
Fuel pressure?

Am I missing anything else?

If wanted to monitor all of that I would just connect one of my old laptops (preloaded with some sort of software that could do the monitoring) connect it to the car's computer, and mount it either in the glove box or under the passenger seat. Then, I could go on my drive and afterwards see what the laptop had logged and save it for later use. There's no need to have all of that displayed constantly.

P.S. I'm still new to this so I know of any software that actually does that. :poke: But there has to be something out there somewhere. *hint* ;)

Yes, there are quite a few that do it, mostly freeware but others you have to pay for.

Or you could do like me, mod the hell out of your car, get a custom email Protune map, and don't run any gauges whatsoever
