racing stripes are a difficult for an import car to pull off. I'd wait till you were absolutely sure you could back them up...

i am against racing stripes except for two cars:
viper
shelby cobra
both cars blue, both with white stripes.

And yes, I think a
Mini looks good with stripes. Brings back images of vintage Monte Carlo rallies.
