racing stripes are a difficult for an import car to pull off. I'd wait till you were absolutely sure you could back them up...

i am against racing stripes except for two cars:

viper

shelby cobra

both cars blue, both with white stripes.

I like the Viper in white with green racing stripes, but that's because I used one to hammer the opposition in GT2.

)
Shelby Cobra (blue w/white stripes)
Viper (for me it's gotta be red w/white stripes)
Corvette (again, blue w/white stripes)
Starsky & Hutch car (can't remember the make/model - maybe a Ford Turino?) - red w/white

And yes, I think a Mini looks good with stripes. Brings back images of vintage Monte Carlo rallies.
