Parts arrived yesterday. Everything was packed well and well made. I am impressed. I think I may be missing a pipe for the FMIC, though. I will PM Dave at WBR and get to the bottom of it. Also, like to add that Dave is a great vendor to deal w/. Great communication and fast response. His site is here:
http://www.wbrperformance.com/
Here are some pics (but they don't do them justice) of what arrived:
First, the prototype CAI and 7 couplers/hoses:
Second, 3 long FMIC pipes, the BPV adapter, and what looks to be a reservior:
Third, bumper beam/support and 10 nice clamps:
Fourth, my happily sleeping, blacked out FMIC core peeking out of the box it came in:
Fifth, a close up of the reservior:
Here is a pic from the WBR website of the FMIC which is slightly different but shows that there should be 4 FMIC long pipes and the one I am missing?

I'm diggin' the routing of the pipes. Very cool. I'm surprised more companies don't do the same... Oh well.
Cool stuffs for you mang!

Good looking set-up!
What are the dimensions of that core?
Do you have some "before" dyno numbers?
It would b cool if you could see what gains the set-up nets.

Well, I had some before dyno numbers using V1 of the custom AP tune which netted me a low 255WHP + 280ft/lbs.
Now I am running a revised V2 tune but once I get the FMIC and CAI on I will need a retune but am also picking up an '05 STi exhaust manifold (which I will PnP and ceramic coat)and will be getting a new 3" whisper axleback...so along w/ that and hopefully 800cc+ injectors (Julian

) and my walboro fuel pump w/ a retune I will up close to (if not at) 300WHP and probably 325ft/lbs...that will be the limits w/ the VF39 (which I like b/c they don't cost much to get used).

Update:
Just got a PM from Dave the owner of WBR and he is overnighting me the missing pipe. Dave is the man! Can't wait to get the puppy on my ride! Also, just realized I have to cut a lot more of the bumper than first thought...that is okay. Here is a pic of cutout of the Dave's (WBR owner) '06 XT bumper which will be about the size I will have to cut out (which if you have seen the stock opening in my bumper, you will know it is a lot):
And here is the custom matching billet grill he made for it:
Maybe I will move the license plate over one of the fog lights. I could get some STi covers for the fog lights as well.

Sorry, missed this question...
The core size without the end tanks is 30inches wide x 9inches tall x 3inches thick. This does not require removal of your fog lights.

the grill looks OK, so long as you don't have to run a front plate...

Yeah, probably not running a grill, just showing you it can/has been done.
Not even sure where my front plate will end up. Possibly over one of the fog lights...hopefully not.
This job is supposed to take me 6hours to do...not sure if that includes chopping up the bumper or not. I am excited and scared at the same time. Some people say use a dremel, others say a sawzall, others say a dremel and jigsaw...OY!!!! It's okay I have until this afternoon to decide what I am going to use.

Well, my evening was uneventful.

I did go to home depot for needed stuff and sprayed my grill trim gloss black instead of having the stupid chrome.
The problem w/ the install is there is a sensor on the '04 that isn't on the '06 XT that is impeding me from putting the new coolant overflow reservior there. Here are the pics:
'06 XT
'04-'05 XT
And yes the reservior is too tall to mount above the sensor. Looks like I am going to have to put it next to my relocated CC in the rear of the engine bay just above the DP. Just a little PITA sandwich for me.
