Meeting place: Jack's Boathouse (Georgetown)

Cost: $25 for two-hour kayak rental. Two people can share a tandem boat (same
price), or you can paddle solo.

We'll meet up at 6pm, rent boats, talk safety and some paddling basics, and hit the water. We'll be heading upriver from Jack's for a leisurely paddle.

Would if I could but I can't. Last time I went there the Potomac was flooded...the current was crazy and every couple of seconds full trees were floating by...then the water level started to rise...of course the boathouse was closed down.

^^^ I doubt it will be like that this time!
