A member named "Seven" from
www.subaruforester.org and Nabisco is selling his XT. Wish I had the money, then I would grab another one
NABISCO FS THREAD
2004 Forester XT 5-speed, 2.5l turbo
VIN JF1 SG69664G726219
Mileage: 45,300
Java Black Pearl
Sadly the time has come to sell the Flying Toaster, the mortgage is more important. Mobil 1 since 18k, pro tinted from the the B-pillars back. Klassed twice a year since new. Has a couple of minor scuffs from city parking on the bumpers. I've taken excellent care of this car at all service intervals. Pictures available upon request, as I don't have hosting.
$16,500
I am finding out if he has any mods and what subaru options his XT has.

He just wrote back:
Auto dimming mirror is the only option I believe. STi Lateral links are the only mod.
So basically this is a stock XT w/ better Lateral Links. I will try to get some pics.

The gods of timing must be against me.
I had the wife convinced to get a FTX.
We had to take her Pathfinder in for some maintenance two weeks ago and ended up dropping over a grand on it. I would have rather sold it and grabbed an XT.
Darn!

If he likes it stock, that is fine but he can go in two different directions if he wants to mod it:
1) Performance
2) Off roading
I have all info and links for both. Let me know if you need any info or if your dad is in town and needs to be taken for a ride in my forester...not that mine is the fastest one in the world but it is decently quick...will be more so in a short time.

If I were picking this up I'd have an Accessport, TBE, headers, injectors and a TD06 20G on it so fast, it would seem like I bent time and space!
Mmmmmm 350whp FXT!

IF my old man is interested, it would remain almost stock. he might install a muffler (he loves the boxer rumble) but he's not a modder and already has an appropriate off-road vehicle.

The more I think about it, I would probably not bother with the 20g and just stick one of my vf22s on it.
Mmmm 320whp FTX.

Can I have one of your VF22s to stick on mine?

The wife and I are going up to see it on Sunday.
She is really interested in it.
So, more debt may be on the way!

Don't you have a vf39 on yours now? The vf22 is only good for about 15-20 whp over the vf39 tops. Hardly worth the swap.
One VF22 is currently on my wagon. It will be swapped soon with the Greddy TZ518G. The second has some bearing wear you can hear the gentle whirr, I'm keeping it for spare parts.

The wife is also getting cold feet.
