Speaking from the other side of the coin on this subject I have to admit Restaurant Week(s) are the two worst weeks of the year for me. We completely change/dumb down the menu so its not at all the type of thing we normally serve since we're serving 550-600 ppl a day instead of 300. I even refer to Restaurant Week Friday as "Black Friday" since its the worst of the days. We get guests that run the gamut from normal people to people that seem like they live under rocks for the other 364 days a year. They do things like eat off of other guests uncleared tables, ask to share a coffee 3 ways and generally do everything you shouldnt do at a restaurant..... I've got stories..........

Oh sorry, was I raving ???? :violent:

Thanks Colin....

On a more civil note, it will be hard for you to get in most places without a reservation. I know we've been booked solid for restaurant week for over a month.

Wow, booked for months in advanced? That sucks! The stories sound pretty bad too. We'll definitely have to hear some of them at the next meet!

Good luck Dave!
