Does anyone know how to remove it? See, I went and bought this thing:
Yeah okay I know it's kind of ricey but it's supposed to direct airflow better so it actually has a purpose too. Anyhow, I don't know how to get the stock one off to put this one on. Any ideas?

IIRC, it's screwed on. Not sure how though

you have to remove the interior trim panel, then you can see the bolt.

Ahhhhhh crud! I was afraid of that. Oh well I save for the next install day. That way I can do my intake and exhaust at the same time, hopefully.

if you've got the piece, do it this weekend. shouldn't be too bad. the back seats pull out pretty easy, it's the trim panels above the rear seats that I'm not sure about. how hard can it be?

Cool this may not be as complicated as I thought.
PlantinumTurbo on iwsti.com wrote:^^ It fairly easy. First thing to do is to unscrew and unclip the plastic screw on the inside of the wing. (one on each side) Once that's done you'll need to gently pry off the outside covers (body coloured plastic). Be very gentle with this as the two clips holding each cover in place are very brittle and might break. I used a small screwdriver wrapped in cloth to pry them off. Once the covers are off, there are 2 bolts on each side which hold the black metal piece in place.
No I still haven't done it yet. If I end up not going to the movies tonight this is what I'll be doing. At least while I still have daylight. I'll let you know it goes. *crosses fingers*

Why don't you keep all three on the back?

How about "NO"? Ya crazy bastard?
Anyhow the deed is done and it looks schweet! Had a little difficulty getting one of the covers off though so it got a few minor scratches and one chip but you can't notice them until you get up close. Plus I had to break out the Dremel because not all of the holes on the vane lined up the brackets way they were supposed to.

Yes, and if anyone needs to use it, I have a pretty sweet Dremel kit w/ no Dremel...I have this Dewalt super power rotodrill but the dremel stuff doesn't work w/ it.
