So, who's up for an install day?

I'd love some help from those with experience, but any help is welcome.

I'd like to do it either this weekend or next.

I'm not sure what's going on this weekend, but I'm probably up for it. The only thing that would stop me is if I go to Deep Creek for the weekend. Could you do them on Sunday?

Both this weekend and next weekend are open.

I was told by the seller that the install is a breeze (with everything assembled and it being a wagon), we shall see.

I think I can make myself available either weekend, either day. I figure with four people and four sets of tools we should be able to knock it out in an hour or two without even really trying. I can supply two sets of tools.

New suspension bits!!! I bet you are just bouncing off the walls waiting to put them in I know I would be.

I'll join in! I need to get my rear sway bar installed anyway (as well as the ProDrive axle-back but that's a snap).

Either day will work for me, just need to know where and when.

Also, I've now got a driveway, garage and nearby empty parking lot if people are willing to drive to Burtonsville.

with Zak's compressor the install is pretty strait forward. I'll try to schedule time to help this weekend. I may have a buddy in from Lexington. if he comes in to town Sunday afternoon would be open for me. if not, just about any time is good. where we doing this?

We can do it where ever. I have a carport that is covered and is out of the sun. It is also not too far from where Colin will have to go pick-up his tools.

erm... my tools are at my place in alexandria now If we're worried about tools everyone is welcome to head over to my place. Right off the parkway, plenty of tools, room, but no cover.

That being said, I'm easy and have no problem making the short trek to D's place. The only concern I'd have about your carport is the amount of room on either side of the vehicle... You tend to need to use a breaker bar on something (prying on a swaybar, etc) and need some space on the sides. I think your carport was roomy enough... it's been a little while since I've made an appearance.

It's not that wide, I don't think we could work on both sides at the same time. but we could easily do one sidemove the car than do the other or the front than the back.

It doesn't matter to me, however I helped a buddy of mine out with some interior work for a couple of hours about a month ago and I swear we must have lost 10lbs each out in the sun on the asphalt. I think I actually got a bit of sunstroke because I felt like crap for the rest of the day.

I think there's room under the car port, but we could use the driveway if you aren't sure. a compressor will make this job a piece of cake. I have air tools, just no compressor. with a "team" on each side we could whip this suspension out in less than 2 hours easy. and you don't have to take your back seat apart in the wagon, right?

I can get my hands on a compressor! My brother in laws have several.
All I need is the day and I'll make sure I have one.

You always have mine to use. I scrap piece of carpet down on the back seat, and the compressor fits right in and can be belted into the back.

sorry I missed the install party. Andy didn't take off until 4, then my mom called with news of my aunt's heart surgery. after that phone call I was beat... sorry again. I hope all went as planned?
